Help with ASMR & Entertainment survey

Research
  • Hi there! We're trying to find participants for our online survey about ASMR experiences with popular media franchises. If you decide to participate in this study, it will take about 15 minutes to complete. You will be asked to watch a video and answer some questions about it and your ASMR experiences, and that’s it! Easy enough, right? :)

Everyone who participates in this study will have the opportunity to enter a random drawing for a $50 Amazon gift card.

If that sounds like something you’d like to do, please visit this link to complete the survey: https://ttucomc.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5zP0pTLr99mKEku

    Thanks for the help!

I do have one last request: if you participate in the study, please don’t chat about it here! It would spoil the experience for others, and could put the integrity of the study at risk. I am more than happy to answer any questions, if you have them!

  • Hey everyone! We're still looking for participants, so please, don't be shy :)

That article is just sensationalism with no scientific basis whatsoever. They seem to be concerned with hearing loss. As though ASMR is known for having loud sounds. No, this article is nonsense.

The only danger with ASMR is relaxing too much and falling asleep.

I would argue that ASMR gives us many benefits. Stress is one of the leading causes of illnesses and death. And ASMR directly decreases stress.
